The Service uses Google's Gemini API to analyze images and generate metadata. Results are AI-generated and may require review before use.

3. Use of Your API Key

Our Service requires you to provide your own Google Gemini API key to use the image generation features. By entering your API key:

• You confirm that the API key belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it
• You understand that your API key is stored in your own browser's local storage and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers
• You accept full responsibility for any usage of the Gemini API made through your key while using our Service
• You agree to keep your API key confidential and not share it with others
• You agree to comply with Google's Gemini API Terms of Service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• To process images that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

Content you generate: The metadata generated by our tool (alt tags, titles, descriptions, keywords) using your images and your API key is yours to use freely. We make no claim of ownership over AI-generated output produced through your use of the Service.

Your images: You retain full ownership of all images you upload or submit. We do not claim any rights to your images.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Service relies on and links to third-party services including Google Gemini API, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Netlify. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI-generated content should always be reviewed before use. We strongly recommend checking the accuracy of generated alt tags, titles, and keywords before applying them to your website, listings, or stock submissions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AltTagsForImages.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Costs of substitute services
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Any damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Issues arising from your API key usage including costs incurred through Google's Gemini API

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, since the Service is free, is zero).

9. Advertising
