Adobe Stock CSV Upload: Step-by-Step Guide with Screenshots

Adobe Stock's CSV upload feature lets you apply titles and keywords to multiple uploaded images at once — saving enormous time compared to editing each image individually. This guide walks through the exact process.

When to Use CSV Upload

CSV upload is ideal when you have 5 or more images to submit at once. For 1-4 images, manual entry is equally fast. For larger batches, CSV upload saves significant time.

Step 1: Upload Your Images

1. Go to contributor.stock.adobe.com
2. Click Upload
3. Select all your images — wait for upload to complete
4. Important: do NOT submit for review yet

Step 2: Generate Your Metadata

Use our free metadata generator to generate titles and keywords for all images:

1. Upload your images to our tool
2. Select Adobe Stock as your platform
3. Set keyword count to 49 (maximum for Adobe)
4. Click Generate
5. Download the Adobe Stock CSV

Step 3: Verify Your CSV Format

Open the CSV in Notepad (not Excel — Excel may alter formatting). Confirm:

Step 4: Upload the CSV

1. In the Adobe Stock contributor portal, click Upload
2. Click Upload CSV file
3. Select your CSV file
4. Wait for confirmation — Adobe shows how many assets were matched

Step 5: Verify and Submit

1. Go to your uploaded images
2. Click on each image to verify title and keywords were applied
3. Make any manual corrections needed
4. Once verified, select all images and click Submit
